FAQs

Live Online Classes

01

What are the live online classes and how do they work?

Live online classes are classes taught by me (Lisa) in real time via Google Meet. You get a link before each session, join from wherever you are, your lounge, bedroom, hotel room, and I can see you, correct your form and keep you on track throughout. It is not a recorded video. It is an actual class with an instructor at a set time.

03

What do I need to join a live class?

A mat, a device with a camera (phone, tablet or laptop), a wifi connection, and a small, clear space to lie down is all you need. Occasionally, we use small props such as bands, balls and magic circles (Pilates rings) but you are welcome to join without props and I will offer modifications.

05

What time are the classes?

Head to the timetable to see the current schedule.

02

Can you really see me and correct my form in an online class?

Yes. That is one of the things that makes Inspired Movement different from pressing play on a workout video. I can see every participant throughout the class and I give real-time corrections and guidance the same way I would in a studio.

04

Do I need any experience to join?

No. Classes are designed for mixed abilities and I tailor cues to different levels throughout. Whether you are a complete beginner or have been doing Pilates for years, you are welcome. If you are completely new, I recommend having a one-on-one session first or watch the Introduction to Pilates video in the beginner library.

06

Are there in-studio classes available?

Yes. In addition to live online classes, I run small in-studio classes in Plettenberg Bay. Current class times are on our timetable.

Videos on Demand

01

What is in the on-demand video library?

The library includes a mix of Pilates, Barre and strength sessions at different levels and lengths — from short 10-minute sessions to full 45-minute classes. There are options for beginners, intermediate levels and everything in between. New classes are added regularly.

03

Can I access the on-demand library without a live class membership?

Yes. There are different membership options, including on-demand only access. Head to the Plans & Pricing page to see all current options.

02

How do I access the on-demand library?

Once you have purchased the applicable pricing option, you can log into your account (top right on the website)  and head to the video-on-demand page. You can access it on any device — phone, tablet or computer. If you have any trouble logging in, just send me a message, and we will sort it out.

04

How often is new content added to the library?

New sessions are added regularly throughout the year. As part of any membership, you get access to everything in the library, including all new additions as they come in.
