It's usually at this time in the challenge that people start to loose momentum and focus. This is a good time to re-read your goals and even more importantly your X factors.


Think about booking classes for next week or planning your own workout routine. Mark it in your calendar and make it a meeting with yourself, which is not to be cancelled!

I have lost focus! It's crazy what sleep deprivation can do!!! Been some long nights with such kiddies but tonight I'm going to rebook at my goals and x factors and try get my MOJO back tomorrow :)

New week and new goals… yesterday I woke up feeling mentally drained and so instead of skipping an exercise routine, I adjusted it to look different. Instead of bouncing up and down and doing something exceptionally vigorous I altered it to suit my need for the day. Which was something calm, but still movement. I went for a 5km walk to keep momentum💪🏼

My fave brekkie so far!!


Remaining consistent is the toughest part. I’m hoping to set aside some time to plan this weekend so that I can be ahead of the game next week. I’m not always the best planner so this will be a great time to practise.

Meal planning is the most important part of a healthy lifestyle. Eventually healthy meals become second nature and you have all the ingredients in your home but in the beginning having a set plan can help make sure you don't land up reaching for something quick and easy which is often high carb or high sugar.

Self-care… hmmm… this can be a tricky one. Especially when life is so busy. But I enjoy seeing the ocean during the course of the day - weather it’s a walk on the promenade, the water on my feet, or sitting on a bench staring into the distance. The sights, sounds and smells calm my soul. I also try set aside time (on just one day in the week) for a beauty/pamper regime where I can cram in the face masks, hair treatments, moisturizers and all the things I’ve wanted to do but haven’t🤣 rest is also a big deal for me… knowing when to say yes and when to say no to functions. Putting up healthy boundaries and valuing my time is so important.
